The sunshine agenda for the April 18 open FCC meeting includes a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and a Notice of Inquiry regarding expansion of direct access to telephone numbers to "promote competition and innovation" by IP-based providers while protecting consumers and the reliability of phone calls. The meeting will start at 10:30 a.m., at commission headquarters, and it will be streamed live on the agency’s Web site.
