The FCC’s next open meeting, set for March 20 at 10 a.m., will address a NPRM aimed at improving the reliability of 911 services nationwide based on the recommendations in the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau’s January report on the impact of the East Coast derecho storm. Commissioners also will hear a presentation by the Office of Native Affairs and Policy on the FCC’s work last year with tribal nations and native communities.
