Shares of Viacom closed up more than 3 percent as the WSJ and Fortune reported that he and daughter Shari Redstone have allegedly had a falling out that could see the heir apparent leaving Viacom and CBS’s boards. If true, she can commiserate with Mel Karmazin and Frank Biondi. Shari Redstone’s spokeswoman is quoted saying Shari is committed to both boards and has no intention of resigning—nor has she been asked to resign.
