MPEG-DASH Training Course
London-based communications-technology training provider Perpetual Solutions is offering a new course — Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP using MPEG-DASH — as part of its Connected Home Academy Certification program. The three-day course, set for July 22-24 in Washington, D.C., will examine OTT delivery of WebTV, demonstrating its difference from traditional broadcast TV and multicast streamed IPTV. The course provides insight into MPEG-DASH technology, comparing it with Apple HLS, Adobe HDS and Microsoft Smooth Streaming. Target attendees include engineers, service designers, developers and systems engineers involved in the development of WebTV products and services.
