FCC Hosts Workshop On 3.5 GHz NPRM
The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and its Office of Engineering and Technology are offering a day-long workshop March 13 focusing on the commission’s NPRM to make 100 megahertz of spectrum in the 3550 MHz-3650 MHz band (3.5 GHz band) available for shared small-cell use (WT Docket No. 12-354). Speaking at the event will be reps from the FCC, Nokia Siemens Networks, Virginia Tech, the White Space Alliance, Motorola, NTIA, Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, Qualcomm and more.
