Pat Esser, president of Cox Communications, was elected as chairman of the board of directors of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA). The election took place at The Cable Show last week in Los Angeles. ??In addition, Glenn Britt, chairman, president and CEO, Time Warner Cable, was elected vice chairman; Brian Roberts, chairman and CEO, Comcast Corporation, was elected treasurer; and Abbe Raven, president and CEO, A&E Television Networks, was elected secretary.
