— Earlier today, satellite provider Hughes Network Systems unveiled HughesON, a suite of managed network and digital-media solutions for the enterprise and government markets. The suite includes Hughes ActiveQoS (enabling end-to-end QoS over broadband), Hughes ActiveBond (bonds multiple broadband links at the IP level for higher link capacities and better app performance) and Hughes ActiveCompression (delivers as much as 50 times more throughput or “virtual bandwidth” to customer applications without capacity upgrades, the company says).
