Appearing together at this week’s WISPAmerica 2013 Conference in Kentucky, Minn.-based LocaLoop Inc., an Internet software technology company focused on providing wireless broadband Internet services in rural communities, joined with Israel’s Runcom Technologies to add 4G WiMAX/LTE products and services to the mix. LocaLoop says it provides operators with a “pay-as-you-grow” network and a business-management software platform. The two companies formed a strategic alliance in 2011 that combined LocaLoop’s cloud-based business platform with Runcom’s 4G WiMAX equipment.
