Spike will bulk up original programming and new acquisitions, a Spikesperson said. At issue: A hike in rights fees that would have seen Spike parent Viacom forking over about $40mln/year. The 2-hr "WWE Raw" was the highest- rated program on cable last week among 18-49s.
