NAMIC is collecting data for its 3rd employment survey, which will try to "pinpoint" where cable is on diversity hiring, retention programs and developing diversity initiatives, pres Jenny Alonzo said. The results will be unveiled at NAMIC’s 18th annual conference during Diversity Week (Sept 19-21, NYC). Through this year’s study, NAMIC plans to provide cable with tools for benchmarking its diversity efforts against competitors as well as similar, direct-to-consumer companies. NAMIC’s partner on "Redefining the Spectrum: The Multi-ethnic Connection" is "DiversityInc" magazine. The two began collecting data this month and will continue through July 16.
