Previously only available on Android and iOS devices, the DISH Anywhere TV on-the-go viewing app is now on Kindle Fire HDX tablets. Users can use it watch live TV programs, DVR recordings for offline use and choose from thousand of On Demand titles.

DISH launched the latest version of the app earlier this year. “By offering DISH Anywhere to this new group of tablet owners, we continue to show that we are dedicated to the expanding mobile market by allowing our customers to watch everything, anywhere no matter what mobile device they are using,” said Jimshade Chaudhari, Director of Product Management at DISH, in a release.

As announced at CES in January, users who own DISH Hoppers with Sling DVR can now transfer recorded content from the Hopper to their mobile devices. Using a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection, subs can view live, recorded and VOD content at home and remotely. Additional features include viewing program guides, as well as the ability to set DVRs and manage recordings.

The DISH Anywhere app is available to download for free via the iTunes StoreGoogle Play and the Amazon Appstore.
