HBO Sweetens Conviva Partnership
Home Box Office Inc. signed an expanded six-year contract for Conviva Inc.’s video-optimization services that support HBO GO and MAX GO. The two began working together two years ago, and this new pact expands Conviva’s suite of service offerings to HBO’s international partners to help support HBO GO’s international distribution.
 
BroadSoft Dumps Google For SPIRIT
Russia’s SPIRIT DSP, which claims to serve more than a billion VoIP and IPTV users in 100+ countries, says BroadSoft Inc. licensed its TeamSpirit Voice&Video Engine Mobile and PC to provide HD-quality voice and video calls in its BroadTouch Business Communicator offering for voice, video, instant messaging and presence on a single mobile/desktop interface. Prior to this license, BroadSoft used Google‘s voice engine.
