Calif.-based Canyon Snow Consulting helped Juniper Networks make a world-class improvement in its Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) score. Earlier this month, the CDP, an independent not-for-profit organization working to drive greenhouse gas emission education and sustainable water use by businesses and cities, released its 2012 S&P 500 Climate Change Report, which revealed that Juniper Networks improved its year-over-year score from 59 to 80. Canyon Snow Consulting worked with the Juniper Networks team to focus on the strategy, risk and governance aspects of climate change and by highlighting a number of initiatives underway at its Sunnyvale, Calif., headquarters campus…DASAN Networks Inc., a developer of carrier-grade network and customer access solutions for high-speed data, voice, video and wireless services over Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) networks, will provide its GPON FTTH access equipment to New Knoxville Telephone in Ohio. DASAN will deliver its V5812G compact-OLT to the operator’s cabinet spaces, while the V8240 high-density chassis with 40 GPON ports will be deployed in its central office…Two new contracts for ZTE Corporation. National Datacast Inc. integrated and gained network approval for ZTE’s MediaLink, a low cost network communication device to extend the reach of National Datacast’s wireless network to multiple digital signage players within one location while reducing costs with a single integrated antenna and DTV tuner. And by using the ZTE MC2261 CDMA 1xRTT data-only module, Power Insight Inc. has integrated and gained network approval on the Sprint network. Power Insights offers residential and light commercial building automation platforms that give utilities and business owners the option of using public cellular without having to rely on local broadband and to contend with private network firewall configurations…In order to help ensure video quality over its networks, Starz Entertainment LLC installed IneoQuest’s iVMS 5 intelligent video management system, giving Starz Entertainment a comprehensive view into the health of its video services. Key elements of the installation are IneoQuest’s Cricket ASI and IQMediaMonitor probes.
