Zayo Group is buying the remaining ownership interests in USCarrier Telecom LLC, a regional, fiber-based, bandwidth-services provider with a network that spans Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee. Zayo acquired an approximate 50-percent interest in USCarrier through its acquisition of American Fiber Systems in October 2010. The deal should close in the fourth quarter…NeoNova Network Services, a provider of cloud-based broadband services for regional ISPs and an authorized premier reseller of Google Apps for ISPs and for Business, has added 11 new affiliate companies so far this year, translating into more than 60,000 new subscribers in Wisconsin, Iowa and Vermont…International digital-TV company S3 Group licensed the Comcast Reference Design Kit (RDK) and will now provide its professional services to integrate the RDK onto STB platforms. Other middleware supported by S3 Group includes OpenTV, NDS, Microsoft Mediaroom, Ericsson and Zenterio ZIDS.
