The architecture uses KoolSpan’s TrustChip, a micro SD chip with secure digital technology, and SafeFile will be scalable and all-inclusive to “keep file data safe from hackers, misdeeds and accidents,” the two say. In addition, by using KoolSpan’s patented FIPS 140-2 TrustChip & TrustGroup technology, SafeFile will allow secure file viewing and sharing between two people or a defined group of people. Notes NTP Software CEO Bruce Backa, “The special sauce here is that our system is end to end, from datacenter to mobile devices and everything in between.”
