The BPA has a maximum total value of $2.1 million, with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods…ARINC and Lemko wrapped what they say was a successful demo of seamless data transmission and streaming video using 4G LTE technology via ARINC’s RapydConnex mobile edge satellite broadband communications platform and Lemko’s distributed mobile wireless network. The testing team obtained sustained data uploads and download speeds of 2 Mbps. Streaming video was uninterrupted, ARINC says. NetCracker now will provide the operator with secure SOA standards-based Web services it says will help improve access to billing and customer data through interfaces with such external apps as Web portals, IVRs and mobile devices…Cassidian Communications just finished upgrading 9-1-1 equipment at the Cecil County Department of Emergency Services Dispatch Center in Maryland, in conjunction with channel partner Verizon Business. The 10 call-taking positions at the 9-1-1 center now are equipped with the VESTA CS call-processing solution, the Aurora management-information system and the ORION Vela mapping solution. ?
