Globe Telecom in the Philippines is using Inteliquent‘s EtherCloud to improve and extend its Ethernet services globally. The carrier has been offering Ethernet services for more than 10 years to small, medium and large enterprises in country. A Layer 2 platform, EtherCloud connects diverse partner networks into an Ethernet cloud that delivers end-to-end connectivity around the world…LGI Broadband Operations Inc., a Liberty Global subsidiary, is buying 100 percent of the parent of San Juan Cable LLC (dba OneLink Communications) for approximately $585 million. OneLink will be merged with LGI’s existing operation, Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico LLC, to form the largest cable operator on the island.
