GCI Cable launched Pentagon Channel last week in Anchorage, Wasilla, and Palmer, AK. — NFL Net inked a deal to have PanAmSat host its HD transmissions of NFL games and football-related programming (Cfax, 7/21). — Comcast and Microsoft are expected to announce Mon that the MSO is deploying Microsoft’s TV Foundation software platform in Seattle. The MSO has spoken of such plans previously. Earlier this year Comcast said it would make the software available to up to 5 mln subs during the next 2.5 years (Cfax, 5/21).
