As we suggested a few weeks ago (Cfax, 5/25), Time Warner Cable and Outdoor Channel have reached a deal that "preserves the bulk" of the network’s distribution. The 2 have been negotiating for months over a plan to drop the net or move it to a sports tier in some markets. Because of Outdoor’s aggressive ad campaign against the moves, some TW markets may be reluctant to return the net. Outdoor spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a Website and an ad campaign in affected markets.
