Tennis Channel renewed exclusive rights to the NCAA div 1 men’s/women’s singles/doubles tennis championships. — AMC acquired rights to 22 films from Warner Bros Domestic Cable, including network windows to "Troy," "Million Dollar Baby" and "Ocean’s 12." AMC begins showing the newly acquired films this month, beginning with "Two Weeks Notice." It’s the 1st time AMC is running contemporary movies in its premiere window. — KLiP Interactive finalized its 1st acquisition, picking up former LB Cable properties in rural parts of GA, FL, MT, and WY. The systems pass some 36K HHs and have about 14K subs. KliP plans to update the systems by constructing a "super headend" linked via fiber to all the markets, deploying FTTH technology to some and eventually launching VOD, DVR, HD and HSI as well as local and long-distance phone service.
