The continued success of Conan has ensconced TBS as an after-hours TV destination. In addition to overseeing late-night, Hudson also leads the production and development of specials for the networks including the Screen Actors Guild Awards. He’s also responsible for TNT’s Christmas in Washington concert each December, which last year scored performances by Diana Ross and Korean pop phenomenon Psy. There’s still work to be done, however. “Across the board, [minorities] are being underserved, and not just as viewers,” Hudson says.
