CTHRA Taps Cox, S-A’s Koenig With Awards, and More Honors
The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association bestowed its inaugural Excellence in Human Resources Award to Cox Orange County/Palos Verdes (HR Best Practices Award). Brian Koenig, SVP, HR, Scientific Atlanta won CTHRA’s Leadership and Excellence Award. Awards will be presented at CTHRA’s Achieving HR Excellence Symposium, Oct. 23 in Atlanta.

Journos Salute BET, CNN
The National Association of Black Journalists recognized CNN and BET at its Salute to Excellence Awards. CNN’s six wins included Best TV/Public Affairs for CNN Connects: The New South Africa, moderated by Jim Clancy. BET received Best Documentary for SOS: Saving Ourselves – One Year Later and Best Feature/Long Form for The Chop Up.
