Well, we survived. CTAM Summit highlights included a rousing speech by Harrah’s chmn/CEO/pres Gary Loveman, who pondered why he never gets any goodies from his cable provider, and a closing-session proposal by HDNet founder Mark Cuban, who wants MSOs to build local Intranets open to third-party developers and user-generated content. Also chock full o’ hipness: The Wyclef Jean concert at Club Love in D.C. Sessions were consistently standing-room-only; CTAM reported registration at 2,753 by Wed morning compared to 2,670 for Summit ’06.
