CNN correspondent Allan Chernoff won a Deadline Club Award in New York May 23 for his work on CNN’s Auschwitz Survivor. The New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists recognized Chernoff for reporting what it called "a personal diary page from his family’s experiences in Auschwitz."
