In a brief appearance, Roberts played Burgess Meredith to Dave Watson’s Rocky-steadying a side of beef, while Watson slugged it during his "training" regime. — Is the fix in? Conference co-chair Watson was on the winning team during Sunday’s golf tournament. — Keeping with CTAM’s Thrilla in Philla theme, Philadelphia’s own Joe Frazier made an appearance before the opening keynote. — No big name talent at the opening night party at Philly hotspot Chrome, but it was nice to see MTV and BET donate some of the party’s budget ($25K) to Children’s First Fund. — CTAM attendees can hit the exhibit floor today to watch HDNet’s live coverage of Space Shuttle Discovery’s launch. The telecast, which is being brought to CTAM in cooperation with Motorola and Comcast, will be available on an NEC HDTV monitor in Motorola’s booth (center ring, booths 3 & 4). Liftoff is slated for 10:30am, although HDNet’s coverage will begin as early as 6am.
