FourthWall Media and CSG Systems International have announced an agreement to provide cable operators an application that will allow subscribers to view and pay their cable bills on TV. This application will work on deployed EBIF platforms.

Bill Pay on TV is an EBIF application that allows subscribers to view and pay the cable bill right from the television screen. Viewers can see their current cable bill and make payments using simple, easy-to-follow prompts with their regular remote control.

Interactive banner advertisements from programmers or others can be included in the application.

In addition, cable operators will have the ability to send targeted payment messages to subscribers.  This feature allows for an operator-written message to appear on screen regardless of channel in designated homes. The message can provide directions on how to make a payment using the cable remote or remind the customer they are not current on their payments.
