itaas has been tabbed to support Cox Communications’ tru2way and ETV implementation via the itaas istart Developer Program. The program is designed to provide support services for application developers who wish to create, launch, and test interactive applications for Cox cable systems across the United States. The deal would include support for EBIF applications using the Aptiv guide on both Motorola and Cisco set-top boxes. Future support for applications on the tru2way platform using the Cox interactive program guide (IPG) is planned as well.

Developers who join the istart Cox video services platform support program will gain access to development tools, documentation, software upgrades, and support for the Cox platform. Additionally, companies can engage itaas for assistance in architecture, design, development, and testing of new applications.
