Craig Cowden has been promoted to senior vice president, network engineering and operations for Bright House Networks. In this role, Cowden is responsible for the architecture, engineering, and operational support for all voice and data services, including commercial services and cell backhaul. Cowden also supports Bright House Networks’ strategic planning and implementation of wireless initiatives. Cowden will report to Nomi Bergman, president of Bright House Networks.

In 2009, Cowden was named vice president and general manager, business operations and support services for Bright House where he has been responsible for leading the existing competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) business operations in Tampa. Prior to this position, Cowden served as vice president of network service delivery and vice president of cable/VoIP service delivery for Sprint.
