Dish joined DirecTV in launching NBCU’s Sleuth, a 24-hour crime channel. It features shows including "Miami Vice" and "Knight Rider," and movies including "Scarface" and "Casino." — YES announced a multi-year agreement to provide its programming to Verizon FiOS TV customers in NY, including HD telecasts. It is available in Verizon’s "Premiere" package. — Verizon expanded 2 of its business DSL packages to 16 more states, including FL and CA. A max connection speed of 7.1 Mbps is available with a dynamic ($100/month) or static ($200/month) IP address. — Telkonet has begun testing its IPTV service in NYC through deployment to beta customers.
