Continuing its nationwide rollout of DOCSIS 3.0 wideband, Comcast has introduced its 50 Mbps Internet service for consumers in several areas of California, including Chico, Grass Valley, Marysville, Orland, Oroville, and Yuba City. The company previously deployed wideband in the San Francisco Bay Area, Monterey-Salinas and several portions of the Central Valley earlier this year.?

As part of a nationwide rollout of new speeds, Comcast is offering its Extreme 50 tier with up to 50 Mbps downloads and 10 Mbps uploads. It’s also launching its Ultra tier, featuring speeds of up to 22 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. In addition, existing Comcast high-speed Internet customers will enjoy even faster Internet access – including twice the current download speeds.
