FUNimation Channel, an Anime television network, is now available with SD and HD content through a video-on-demand package through the Comcast Media Center (CMC).

The FUNimation Channel VOD package combines product sampling with proven transactional and a subscription level of service to this attractive demographic. The subscription level of service includes up to 40 TV hours of SD and 13 TV  hours of HD content per month. The transaction package includes up to 15 TV hours of SD and 5 TV hours of HD content per month.

By making the package available through the CMC’s VOD distribution footprint, the product is available to more than 98 percent of the industry’s leading TV providers.

“We appreciate the opportunity to include FUNimation Channel’s VOD programming content as part of the more than 9,500 hours of fresh video content that the CMC delivers to its MSO affiliates each month,” said Richard Buchanan, VP and general manager/Content Services for the CMC, in a statement.
