Comcast announced it is expanding the number of movie choices it offers on demand by more than 450 percent, adding nearly 9,000 movie titles. This brings more than 11,000 total movie choices to customers monthly – with 3,000 available in HD. The expanded movie offering brings the total number of Comcast On Demand choices to more than 25,000.

This significant increase in movie content will begin launching in Comcast’s Xfinity markets in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, and will continue rolling out to Comcast digital cable customers across the country.??

To deliver on the growing consumer appetite for multiplatform entertainment viewing, Comcast offers a large collection of movies online at no additional cost on Fancast XFINITY TV.  Also, through Fancast XFINITY TV, customers can access nearly 1,500 movies from their cable subscription, and can buy or rent approximately 5,500 movies from the Fancast.com store.
