NHL Network is using Denver-based Comcast Media Center’s (CMC) Advertising Distribution Network (ADN) to deliver promotional spot advertising to its affiliates.

ADN is a Web-based platform Comcast says delivers broadcast-ready spot advertising directly to cable and broadcast marketing and ad sales departments for editing or playback on local ad-insertion systems. The cloud-based platform currently delivers ads and cross-channel promotions for more than 220 television networks and advertising organizations, including 16 of the largest U.S. MSOs. In addition, ADN delivers on-air content from the Ad Council for use by cablecos. ?

Comments Richard Buchanan, CMC’s vice president & GM/Content Services, “The service, which distributes close to 3,000 ready-to-air spot commercials in HD and SD formats each month, is the ideal solution to assist NHL Network and others to achieve their viewership and advertising revenue objectives quickly, reliably and efficiently.”    ?
