The Comcast Media Center and enableTV have announced a joint marketing agreement for collaborating to support the development and delivery of ITV applications that will be built upon ETV/EBIF and tru2way technology. One of the first joint activities the two companies will undertake is to co-exhibit at the TV of Tomorrow Conference, where the CMC’s HITS Advanced Interactive Services (AxIS) suite for ITV will be showcased. TV of Tomorrow will be held today and tomorrowat the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

enableTV offers a suite of technology and professional services for the ETV and OCAP/tru2way platforms including application templates, development and testing tools, and a test lab with access to Motorola and Cisco headends. Its test lab offerings include ETV and OCAP application testing, remote testing and a tru2way Certification preparation test package.

enableTV joins more than 20 companies that have signed on with HITS AxIS, which serves as a centralized resource to support the development, delivery and management of advanced interactive applications. In addition, four cable MSOs have signed on to beta test ITV applications that are being tested, launched and supported by the HITS AxIS service.
