BridgeWave Communications, a supplier of 4G backhaul solutions, has announced that Clearwire has deployed BridgeWave’s gigabit radios in its Clear network in New York City. BridgeWave’s 80 GHz links have also been deployed in several Northeastern Clearwire markets, including Boston, Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven and Pittsburgh.
BridgeWave’s high-capacity wireless solutions are built to not only sustain the exponential growth of mobile broadband traffic that comes with smartphone use, streaming content and data cards, but also expand as future needs increase.
