Openet, a provider of Subscriber Optimization Software (SOS) to tier one communications and media service providers, has been upgraded to Preferred Solution Developer status within the mobile packet core technology category in the Cisco Developer Network.

In addition, Openet’s Policy Manager, Convergent Charging, Network Edge Rating, Balance Manager, Profile Manager and Convergent Mediation products have successfully completed interoperability testing with many of the leading Cisco network platforms, including ASR 5000, CSG, CSG2, SCE and the eGGSN.

The Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested, interoperable solutions to joint customers.
