Cisco today announced successful completion of interoperability testing of the company’s uBR10012 CMTS with Texas Instruments‘ Puma 5 DOCSIS 3.0 CPE development platform. The uBR10012 CMTS demonstrated upstream channel bonding, an important feature of CableLabs’ DOCSIS 3.0 specifications. The interoperability testing at CableLabs helps ensure that the Cisco uBR10012 CMTS platform and Texas Instruments’ Puma 5 DOCSIS 3.0 CPE development platform can be used together to as part of a DOCSIS 3.0 network.
