G4 and CNET are making their ‘Best of CES’ programming available to MSOs for VOD, G4 COO Dale Hopkins tells us. The 2 combined to give MP3 players with podcasts featuring a tour of the show floor to MSO execs on Fri. — Intel signed deals with NBCU and AOL for HD content to the ‘Net via Intel’s Viiv tech. NBCU will initiate the deal through the ’06 Winter Olympics. AOL will use Intel for its soon-to-launch In2TV service. — Comcast, LG Electronics and Nagravision demonstrated advanced downloadable conditional access system module technology. This allows MSOs to manage CAS modules straight to the set-top. — A record crowd of 150K+ and 2.5K exhibitors attended CES this year.
