On the day the sports net christened its Digital Center, Cablevision [CVC] announced it would carry ESPN HD at no additional cost to its digisubs. Since the end of ’03, the MSO’s HD sub base has nearly doubled, totaling more than 70K. Cablevision HD subs got their 1st glimpse of the future of TV last night at 11pm when ESPN presented the inaugural hi-def edition of "SportsCenter."
