HGTV recently reached a renewal deal with Comcast that includes launches of HGTV HD. HGTV HD and Scripps sib Food HD have already rolled out to Comcast subs in parts of NJ and Boston. HGTV is still negotiating with Time Warner Cable. The MSO has been on a short-term extension deal, like Comcast was, since its affiliation agreement expired in Dec.
