The overbuilder will launch its VOD and SVOD services July 1 in markets including, NY, San Fran, Chicago and DC. — Hallmark Channel grew by 650K subs in April and early May, thanks to launches on Comcast (including Chicago and San Fran), Adelphia (Camarillo, CA) and Insight (Louisville). — Comcast [CMCSA] launched its 1st digital sports tier in the Baltimore-DC area this month, launching GolTV and NBA TV on the tier. — Insight will offer TV One to 150K additional subs in 2 more markets by June 30. Last month it launched TV One to 250K expanded basic subs in Louisville, KY. It expects to roll out to "a significant portion" of its subs within the next year. — Adelphia and Starz signed a multi-year pact enabling Adelphia subs to gain access to all of the Starz premium services, incuding Starz on Demand, Starz! Kids and Starz! HD. The deal replaces a 1997 agreement.
