Camiant is set to deliver support for both of the cable industry’s major on-demand video protocols: Comcast’s proposed Next Generation On Demand (NGOD) architecture and Time Warner Cable’s fostered Interactive Services Architecture (ISA) with Camiant’s Universal Edge Resource Manager (UERM) solution. Camiant’s UERM is designed to enable cable operators to maximize bandwidth efficiency across multiple services including VOD, SDV, addressable advertising and video-delivered web content through the sharing of QAM RF resources.

In other Camiant news, the company has announced a technology partnership with Visible World, an end-to-end solutions provider for addressable and targeted video advertising. This partnership is designed to enable cable operators to ease their deployment of emerging video and addressable advertising applications through the efficient use of cable bandwidth.
