Cablevision Systems has launched iO Search, a free enhancement available to digital cable customers across the company’s entire service area, to search for programming across both linear channels and on demand.??iO Search is accessible through both iO Shortcuts and allows customers to use a virtual keypad to enter in search terms based on title, genre, performers, network or other attributes. Searches can be saved for future use and customers can quickly navigate from the search page to the programming, launch an on demand title or set their DVR to record the show.

iO Search is available to customers with a digital set-top box. More than 94 percent of Cablevision’s cable customers are iO TV digital cable customers.
