Why Him? We’d be hard pressed to name a more dedicated executive or a more decent human being than Ahn, who joined his colleague Mary Murano as our affiliate salespersons of the year in ’09 (large networks). Ahn’s combination of smarts and personality helped him lock down distribution deals for NBCU’s 16 cable nets in ’08-’09 with major carriers as well as pacts for Beijing Olympics carriage.

Done Good: A Cable Positive board member, Ahn quietly delivered meals to homebound AIDS patients during the ’09 Cable Show in DC.
