Why Her? Denson oversees MTV Networks’ distribution deals — a huge job that’s grown with the launch of Centric and most notably Epix. With so much riding on the joint venture movie channel between Viacom, MGM and Lionsgate Entertainment, Denson must get Epix in front of more than just Verizon subs. Additionally, she works on expanding the company’s channel portfolio and growing its reach across emerging platforms such as VOD and broadband. And with TV Everywhere and authentication, she’s has even more on her plate.

Obsession: It’s all about Epix distribution.

The Year Ahead:

She’s got her work cut out for her convincing wary distributors to pay for another premium service. If she succeeds, look for a big jump in next year’s 100 rankings.
