E! Entertainment – E! Celebri-tweet
If there’s one thing E! fans appreciate, it’s celebrities. And with the E! Celebri-TWEET initiative the network fully capitalized on that. During regular programming, Tweets from popular celebrities span the bottom of the TV screen, while super fans can download the Celebri-TWEET widget to access tweets on E! Online. The net’s also done Twitter parties with celebs like the Kardashians, where fans can pose questions and exchange tweets. And then there’s the Instant Glam Cam from E!’s Live from the Red Carpet. It provides 360 degree views of celebs at award shows—which they then tweet out to fans. All this leads back to E! Online of course, and the numbers are looking up—up 57% year over year, to be precise.
