The Cable Show 2010 will continue its push for environmental awareness and a reduced carbon footprint through a new partnership with Carbonfund.org, a nonprofit carbon reduction and climate solutions organization.

The voluntary program will make “going green” easy for both attendees and exhibitors at the 59th Annual Convention and International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), May 11-13, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.??

The carbon offset program allows both exhibitors and attendees to contribute to the New York State Landfill Methane Project, a third-party validated project identified by Carbonfund.org.

NCTA has also noted the direct emissions cost associated with producing The Cable Show, calculating and offsetting the emissions of attendees’ hotel, food, and the convention space.
