The Cable Center will officially debut its new permanent Cable Hall of Fame exhibit, dedicated to all of the Cable Hall of Fame honorees, on Oct. 16, during Cable Days 2008. Visitors to The Cable Center can also see a number of new and updated exhibits and displays during the three days of industry events, Oct. 15-17.

Spanning two full walls of The Cable Center, the new Cable Hall of Fame exhibit will offer a brief profile of each of the 65 Cable Hall of Fame inductees to date, along with highlights and commentary from The Cable Center’s Oral History Collection.

Also new to The Cable Center:

• A renovated video tower in the Daniels Great Hall, made possible by a $1 million contribution from the Comcast Foundation. The tower is highlighted with 44 HD flat screen TV sets showcasing cable programming delivered by Comcast.
• A new cable programming exhibit added to the third floor, including a slideshow of cable facts and images.
• An update of its first floor exhibit detailing The Cable Center’s educational programs.
