NCTA is trying to match cable employees displaced by Hurricane Katrina with cable families willing to volunteer space, thanks to a housing database the assn launched via KatrinaHousing.org. The site accepts housing offers from cable industry families and won’t be limited to areas directly impacted by the hurricane. Cable companies interested in participating should call NCTA at 202/775-3629.
