ADC Telecom plans to acquire Andrew Corp for $2bln in stock, giving ADC greater ability to offer integrated wireless and wireline equipment to large communications companies. Under the deal, each share of Andrew Corp. would be exchanged for 0.57 shares of ADC. — RCN closed on a 2-part, $130mln first-lien credit facility. A 7-year $75mln term loan will refinance the MSO’s existing $34mln first-lien and $41mln third-lien term loans; and a 5-year $55mln revolving credit line will replace its existing letter of credit facilities.
